There are, however, various other tricks that casinos use to keep you playing. Essential, casinos want you to forget about the outside world and the passage of time, so that you still inside of their building and continue to play.

Here are some of the tricks that they use:

In order to see windows, you will have to leave the actual gaming areas and move to the outer parts of the casinos.

Again, this is done to confuse customers as to what time it is.

If you can see outside, you will know that it is now nighttime when you thought it was earlier, etc.

3) Noise Levels are elevated.

All of the noises inside of a casino are enhanced to make it seem as though it is the absolute center of the action. The sounds of the slot machines, the hum of voices, etc., are all enhanced using a number of different methods. In addition, this is done so that people are less likely to get tired, as a quiet casino will like sap the adrenaline from people.

4) Casinos are built in a circular shape.

The harder a casino is to navigate through, the harder it will be to leave.

5) The best stuff is found in the center of the casino.

In order to get to the slot machines and blackjack tables, you will usually have to walk to the center of the casino. Again, this is done on purpose in order to make it harder to leave.

This is a tried and true method to keep you inside of the casino - free food and free hotel rooms.
